We are seeking a highly organized, passionate individual to join our aircraft team as an intern to support the Mechanical Engineering and Technician teams. In this role, you will support the ME team work on component development, and support the technician team on aircraft assembly and maintenance. The Parallel Flight team is made up of extremely talented, hardworking, proactive and hands-on individuals, operating in a very fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities:
Support the ME team with CAD projects, part inspection, documentation, and component assembly
Support the Technician team with aircraft assembly and repair
Assemble hardware for use on test stands or on aircraft while maintaining associated documentation. This involves mechanical assembly of parts and sub-systems.
Install flight hardware on aircraft and perform systems checkout and debugging, as to bring subsystems to an operational status, while strictly adhering to best practices and proper documentation
Document and organize aircraft components
Required:
Working toward ME, Aerospace, A&P or related degree
Some Solidworks experience
Working knowledge of MS Office
Basic hand tool skills
Strong work ethic
Strong oral and written communication skills
Team oriented attitude
Excellent problem-solving techniques and analytical ability
Desired:
Drone experience
Experience with 3D printing
CNC experience
